From 2024 to 2025: Lessons Learned and Goals Ahead

A look back on 2024 - and a look forward to 2025

As the year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on an incredible 2024 and give you a sneak peek into what’s coming in 2025.

A Look Back at 2024

This year has been a whirlwind of growth and milestones!

At the start of 2024, I officially launched my business, taking a leap into creating tailored aviation English resources and courses. Although I have been working in the industry for several years, I felt it was time to ‘fly solo’ and build something of my own.

One of my proudest achievements this year was debuting my signature course, Flight Ready. Designed for future pilots preparing for flight training, the course provides the essential English skills they need to succeed. We completed three successful cohorts, with the most recent one finishing just last week. Many congratulations to all the graduates.

My community has grown to well over 7,000 LinkedIn followers and nearly 1,000 email subscribers. Your support has been invaluable - thank you!

A significant change at the end of 2024 was stepping away from my role as an ICAO English Examiner at a flight school. This has freed up my time to focus on new and exciting projects for 2025…(more will be revealed soon).

2025: Exciting Plans Ahead

A New Brand

My company is getting a complete makeover - new logo, new colour scheme, new website, and a whole new identity! While it’s still a work in progress, you’ll start to see the new look rolling out soon.

A New Partnership

I’m joining forces with a good friend in the aviation industry to expand our range of services. This includes offering training in languages other than English - watch this space!

Examining

I’m currently jumping through the bureaucratic hoops to launch an exciting new project. If you filled out my recent questionnaire, you might already have an idea of what this will be!

But first...

But before I do all of the above, in early January I will be introducing a ‘light’ version of my signature course Flight Ready. This reduced-size 150-hour version of the course (instead of the usual 250 hours) offers flexible learning - at a reduced price! It’s perfect for future pilots who want to brush up on their English skills before they begin flight training.
